About this product
The Trailhead is the everyday flagship of the KindPack kibble line. A single bottom fold gusset lets the pouch open into a stable oval base, so it stands on the shelf, survives the shipping box, and holds its shape when the customer reaches in with a scoop. The zipper sits low enough to keep a full 8 lb fill below the seal, and the tear notch gives a clean opening without scissors. Matte soft-touch film with a spot-gloss logo block reads premium on a crowded pet aisle, while the opaque body protects fats and aromatics from light. In the rebuilt 36-SKU green matrix this product is re-homed to parameter family KP-ECO-001 - Mono-PE Single-Stream Stand-Up Doypack - on the basis of exact structural match: single-web stand-up doypack with a bottom gusset for dry kibble. The family design direction is: Mono-material PE only, with no mixed polymer layers, so the pack can stay in one film stream; water-based inks; solvent-free lamination; source reduction by downgauging; a PCR content direction; and a zipper from the same PE family so the closure does not contaminate the stream. The front panel stays blank and carries no brand of ours, so the buyer's own label can be applied. Nothing here is a verified environmental statement: CLAIM PENDING - NOT VERIFIED. No recyclability, recycled-content, mono-material or compostability claim is validated for this SKU today. Before any on-pack, listing or sales wording, the following must be documented and approved: (1) the film resin family declaration and the supplier recyclability statement; (2) a store drop-off eligibility assessment in the US and a provincial programme check in Canada; (3) evidence for any post-consumer recycled content figure (physical content or mass balance); (4) evidence for any material-reduction figure. Until then use only 'recyclable-direction material - verification pending'. Duties & taxes are not included in quoted prices.
Shelf-ready for US pet specialty and Canada grocery: stands square on a 4 in facing, holds up to Amazon-style parcel handling, and leaves a clean back panel for bilingual EN/FR ingredient copy and recycling guidance. Re-homed into the KP-ECO-001 family, the North America positioning holds: Built for US and Canadian pet specialty, grocery and farm-store aisles where packaging EPR and recycled-content rules are tightening. Sized for a 4 in shelf facing and for parcel shipping, with the back panel reserved for bilingual EN / FR ingredients, feeding guidance and disposal wording that can be updated as soon as a claim is verified.
