The closure is the feature your customer touches every day — so it has to keep working.
A resealable closure is the most-used part of a pet food pack: opened and closed twice a day for weeks. A cheap zipper that loses grip, or a weld that puckers the film, is what generates the "arrived damaged" review even when the pouch itself is sound.
We specify the zipper against the film stack rather than the other way round, because a closure welded to the wrong gauge will pucker or fail. Slider and hook-and-loop options are available where finger strength is a consideration.
