The classic block-bottom format: high fill efficiency, a wide front panel, and a familiar silhouette.
A side gusset bag folds inward on both sides, so it ships flat and expands to a rectangular block when filled. That makes it one of the most fill-efficient formats per metre of film, and it is why the format dominates coffee and dry treats.
The trade-off is a narrower front panel than a box pouch, so we plan the artwork around the fold lines. We supply a dieline with the fold positions marked, so the design does not break across a crease.

Yes — a one-way valve can be fitted to the front panel, which suits freshly roasted or high-fat formulas.
Per kilogram packed it is usually the cheapest of the block formats, because there is less film overlap than a flat-bottom pouch.
