Retort pouches are sterilised after filling, so the pouch becomes the cooking vessel. That demands a film stack and a seal pattern that survive heat, steam and internal pressure without delaminating at the seams or losing the print.
We validate the structure across three retort cycles and test for leakage under internal pressure. Cast polypropylene is the usual food-contact layer, with aluminium foil where the product needs a full light and oxygen barrier.

Yes — we use retort-grade inks and specify the print sequence accordingly. Colour shift after retorting is checked against your artwork on the pre-production sample.
Retort pouches run from single-serve 50 g up to 1.5 kg. Above that the seam area grows quickly and a different format is usually more economical.
Yes, with a retort-capable fitment. We test the cap seal after sterilisation because that is the most common failure point.
